revolutioniseSPORT announces themselves as proud Platinum sponsor of the University of New South Wales Women in Engineering Society
revolutioniseSPORT has partnered with University of New South Wales Women in Engineering Society and the UNSW Engineering society in a positive step towards proactively aligning the sports technology industry with gender equity in the engineering landscape.
revolutioniseSPORT is well-versed in this domain, with women in management and directorship roles in the engineering and product spaces, and with over half of the management and coordination roles in the company held by women.
“Like revolutioniseSPORT, WIEOSoc is passionate about ensuring gender equality and equity across the engineering industry, making this a partnership a natural fit for us. With a female engineering lead and strong female representation across our diverse team, we are passionate about making this the norm not an exception.
It is important to us to show the next generation of women that it is possible to hold these positions, be respected and be a positive role model for others.
We are really excited about what our partnership with WIESoc holds and we look forward to continuing to encourage the professional growth of these young people, and helping them open doors that were previously inaccessible or hard to reach.”
revolutioniseSPORT Lead Product Manager, Cass Simonetti is thrilled to partner with UNSW Women in Engineering Society.
The UNSW Women in Engineering Society, WIESoc, has aspired since 2013 to foster a supportive community and network for female-identifying students in engineering. By providing the foundations for students to build their support networks early on in their careers, WIESoc has played an integral role in addressing the gender disparities in the engineering industry.
“We are delighted to work with revolutioniseSPORT for 2022. We rely on companies like revolutioniseSPORT to help provide members with career opportunities and advice, and a pathway into the industry. We are excited to work with a company that believes in fostering women in engineering and has a passion for social change, as it aligns with our mission and vision. We can't wait to see what opportunities this year holds,” states Malavika Pasupati, President of UNSW WIESoc.
revolutioniseSPORT and the UNSW Engineering societies look forward to working together to explore future opportunities in the engineering space and to continue to pave the way for women within the sports technology industry.
