NEDCA 2024 Golf Croquet Single
NEDCA 2024 Golf Croquet Open Championships, hosted at the Benalla Croquet Club Friday 5 April 2024. Members of fourteen clubs joined us for the event which was played across three Divisions. Winners and Runners-up: Division 1 - Richard Parks (Williamstown), Runner-Up Andy Barbero (Wangaratta). Division 2 - Deb Newbold (Ringwood), Runner-up Wayne Comer (Shepparton) Division 3 - Sharon Wolfe (Echuca Moama), Runner-up Bunty Clark (Howlong). Thank you to everyone who participated and assisted. Referees, Bruce Blay, Terry Wilson, Debbie Hazell, Maurice Cevaal-Hewitt and Sarina Cevaal-Hewitt, all kept busy over the seven rounds of play on the day, plus court setters, scorers and catering crew. NEDCA 2024 Spring Social Day hosted at Howlong Croquet, Friday 6 September 2024 Blue Block . Winner: Maria Harvey (Beechworth), 4 games, +10 hoops. Runner-Up: Ian Collins (Albury)3 games + 10 hoops. Red Block. Equal Winners: Maureen Freshwater (Benalla). Runner-Up: Harley Knott (Wodonga) 3 games +14 hoops Association Croquet Winner: Geoff Richardson (Howlong) 1 game +7 hoops See you next year!
2024 Golf Croquet Pennant
NEDCA 2024 Golf Croquet Pennant Final between Wodonga and Beechworth teams was hosted at Albury Croquet Club on Wednesday 15 May 2024. After games were completed, the unexpected result was a tie, 6 games/69 hoops each. A play off between the top player for each team (best of seven hoops) saw Wodonga win on the final hoop.
