Mods-OGM HC juniors are a vibrant part of our growing family based club with a focus on building friendships and enjoying our sport. We welcome ALL from 4-18 years of age across a variety of competitions.

Juniors
We have clear behavioural expectations of our members, parents and volunteers and in being part of our junior programme, you have agreed to abide by them.
Custom Made Mouthguards
Mouthguards are an essential part of Hockey and it’s important to get a mouthguard that fits.
Fittings for custom made mouthguards can be booked by appointment.

Please register Online to train and be insured with Hockey Australia.
The Hockey WA Junior Competition is divided into the following age groups:
J 11/12 (for all children in Year 11 and 12 or below)
J 9/10 (for all children in Year 9 and 10 or below)
J 7/8 (for all children in Year 7 and 8 or below)
J 5/6 (for all children in Year 5 and 6 or below)
Hookin2Hockey (Kindy to Year 4)
This year H2H will consist of 16 sessions across Term 2 and Term 3 as follows:
Session: Charles Veryard (Thursday 4.30-5.30 pm) Lilac Hill (Saturday 9-10 am)
Sessions 1-8 Thursdays 8 May – 26 June ; Saturdays 3 May - 28 June (No session 31 May)
Break 3 - 17 July 5 – 19 July
Sessions 9-16 Thursdays 24 July - 11 Sept ; Saturdays 26 July -13 Sept
Charles Veryard Term 2 Thursdays 4:30 - 5.30pm - starts May 8th
Lilac Hill starts 3rd May - Saturday 9-10am (not school hols or long weekends)
2025 Registration Fees
Mods-OGM HC strive to keep its fees as low as possible. A small increase is due to inflation in fees this year. Player insurance levy, is a payment that automatically is paid directly to HA at Registration - this has increased 20-25%.
The Junior Committee has secured a regular bookings at the turf at Warwick Hockey Centre (Whitfords Hockey Club) and at Guildford Grammar School. Turf training costs money, which has been reflected in the Registration fees, the benefit of more turf training time will greatly benefit the development of our players and club.
The umpire levy we introduced a few years ago, has been incorporated into this years fees again. All junior teams will benefit from not having to worry about finding umpires and finding money to pay umpires every game.
If you have any difficulty in paying the fees, please do not hesitate to contact our Treasurer to come up with a payment plan
Training
We have access to Lilac Hill for grass training any night of the week for any junior team that wishes to train at Lilac Hill and nominate Lilac Hill as their home venue for grass games on the weekend throughout the season.

CV starts Thursday 8th May 4.30-5.30pm
Lilac Hill Saturday 3rd May 9-10am (Kindy- Year 4)

J11/12 Wednesdays on turf at Warwick,
Please come prepared with a mouthguard, stick, shin pads, water bottle. All coaches will be recognisable, wearing a Mods shirt with COACH on the back.

Teams
J5/6-J11/12 competitions are all run by HockeyWA. The competition involves playing other clubs all over the Perth metro area.
Games are run on a full size pitch 11 aside including a goalkeeper.
J/3/4 Competition is run by Mods-OGM begins Term 2.

This is social hockey for primary school aged children who may not know yet how wonderful hockey is.. or for children that may not be able to play Saturday games.
